Chopper 6 HD was over Sugartown Road in Easttown Township before dawn Tuesday.
The road was closed between Newtown Road and Waterloo Avenue for at least an hour after a water main burst, flooding the road with water that froze and created a traffic hazard for passing vehicles.
The road was reopened after utility crews shut off the main and road crews cleared the ice and salted the roadway.
