The two vehicle accident happened around 6:15 a.m. Thursday on the ramp from northbound Route 202 / eastbound Route 422 to the eastbound Schuylkill Expressway in Upper Merion.
Both victims were transported to area hospitals. Their conditions have not been released.
The crash caused traffic to be reduced to one lane.
Sky 6 shows a pothole in the vicinity of the crash. Officials have not yet said whether this played a role in the accident.
Police are investigating.
