Police: Driver falls asleep, crashes in Kensington

Police say a driver fell asleep and crashed and rolled over in the city's Kensington section early Saturday morning.

The accident happened around 4:30 a.m. on the 400 block of East Allegheny Avenue.

According to police, a man driving a Dodge charger fell asleep and severely damaged three parked vehicles before rolling over.

Firefighters had to free a woman passenger who was trapped in the car.

They say the driver was able to crawl out of the vehicle.

Both are expected to be okay.

So far, there is no word on any charges.
