Sprinklers douse school fire in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - March 4, 2014

The fire broke out shortly after 9:00 a.m. inside a third floor closet and was quickly brought under control, being contained by sprinklers.

The children were temporarily housed in the Church while the fire was extinguished.

Parents of students were notified about the fire and instructed to come pick up their children for the day.

So far, no word on a cause.
