The fire was reported around 1:10 a.m. in the 900 block of Wynnewood Road.
Firefighters arrived to find flames shooting from second floor of a three-story twin home.
Those rescuers were able to save one of the women from the second floor.
The other woman was able to escape the fire on her own.
Both women were taken to the hospital with smoke inhalation. The woman who was rescued also suffered burns.
There was no immediate word as to what sparked the fire.
