Intruder stabs man inside his Burlington Co. home

CHESTERFIELD TWP., N.J. - April 11, 2014

Police in Chesterfield Township, New Jersey say it was around 8:30 a.m. when the victim arrived at his home on Galestown Road to find a man in his garage.

The victim was stabbed in the abdomen during the confrontation and the suspect then fled on foot.

The victim was transported to Capital Heath Regional Medical Center where he remains in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, approximately 5'10, 160 pounds, with a beard. He was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.

Police searched the area but were unable to find the suspect. Friday afternoon a sketch of the suspect was released in hopes someone recognizes the man.
