The shooting occurred just before 5:00 p.m. Friday on South 54th Street near Greenway Avenue.
Police say a 22-year-old man was shot in the buttocks. He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in critical condition.
So far, no arrests have been made.
