Rescue crews were called to the 3100 block of Magee Avenue around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday for a 10-year-old boy who was unresponsive in a bathroom.
They transported the boy from a home on the block to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities say it appears to be accidental.
The exact circumstances surrounding the drowning remain under investigation.
