Officials say approximately 15 people were displaced after a fire in the Mantua section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 6:00 p.m. Wednesday on the 3600 block of Spring Garden Street.

The high winds made the blaze difficult for crews to fight and caused lingering smoke conditions.

Authorities say at least two homes were damaged.

No one was injured but several people were left displaced. The Red Cross is assisting those residents.

The fire was brought under control around 7:07 p.m.

There is still no word on a cause.
