PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man being sought for the death of his wife in Pittsburgh, Pa. was found dead in the Brewerytown section of Philadelphia on Friday.
It all began on June 7 when a missing person investigation was launched for Sharay Newsom.
She was found dead the next day in her Pittsburgh home.
Investigators say her husband, John Newsom, was identified as a suspect and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
The U.S. Marshals in Philadelphia confirmed a location for John Newsom but, as they approached the residence on N. Dover Street, they hear three shots.
The Marshals retreated and the Philadelphia police SWAT team was called.
SWAT officers entered the home and found him dead.
No injuries to police were reported.
