Piazza Pod Park officially debuts this weekend in Northern Liberties with a grand opening celebration on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. The park is 35,000 square feet of "themed" pods that include dining, games, fitness, entertainment and Tildie's Toy Box for the kids!
Now in its 44th year, the largest African-American street festival on the East Coast culminates on Sunday. The Odunde Festival will take over South Street from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
June is International Gay and Lesbian Pride Month and Philadelphia is planning a huge parade and festival on Sunday. The Pride Dayparade starts at 11:30 a.m.at 13th and Locust Streets and will end at Penn's Landing. The parade will be hosted by Adam Joseph and Alicia Vitarelli and will air on 6abc on June 30th at 1 p.m.
Nearly 150 artists will show off their wares during the Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show. Visitors can mingle through oils, acrylics, drawings and other mixed media. The free show runs Friday through Sunday.
Parks on Tap is making its home at the Schuylkill Banks, located in the green space underneath the Walnut Street Bridge.
The Fishtown FestivALE has expanded to six blocks and boasts three stages featuring live DJs. The 8th annual event features dozens of craft vendors, food from more than 30 local restaurants and of course ice-cold beverages.
