One dad took the song "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" literally. Very literally.

In a cute video going viral, he brings that wish to life for his son, and it back-fires in a way that would be rather terrifying...if it wasn't all animated.

Animator Daniel Hasimoto, also known as the Action Movie Dad, has created an awesome online persona for his son James, aka the Action Movie Kid. The pair have made a whole series of videos in which James' fantasies are brought to life. In their most popular video, James 'destroys' a toy store with a 'lightsaber.'

What makes this video stand out from the others, however, is that the Action Movie Dad promises to donate a portion of the proceeds to the Make-A-Wish foundation. They chose the foundation "mostly because they do really awesome stuff," dad explained in the video.
