The annual ceremony at the Philadelphia Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Penn's Landing is later Monday, but throughout the day people will be to the memorial to read the wall of names and reflect.

Monday afternoon in Washington Square there will be the annual wreath laying and commemoration at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. This ceremony honors those who sacrificed their lives from the civil and revolutionary wars and all other wars and conflicts.

A wreath laying will also take place in Bridesburg before their annual parade, which always draws a crowd.That parade kicks off at 10 a.m. with lots of music and local youth groups.

The Memorial Day parade in Media is another big one. It also starts at 10 a.m, with no shortage of red white and blue.This year special guests include a 98-year-old Pearl Harbor survivor and a World War II veteran who turns 100 in June.

Downingtown Borough Memorial Day Parade begins at 10 a.m. followed by the Veterans' memorial at Kerr Park.

Kennett Square memorial Day Parade begins at 10 a.m., The parade will end at the Union Hill Cemetery with a Veterans Memorial Day service.

Radnor Memorial Day Parade begins at 9:45 a.m.; a brief ceremony will immediately follow the parade at the corner of Runnymeade and South Wayne.

Lambertville Memorial Day Parade begins at 9 a.m. A formal commemoration ceremony will follow at the gazebo at Sheridan Park.

A flag raising and wreath laying service will take place at Macungie Memorial Park at 8:30 a.m.. A parade will follow, beginning at Shoemaker Elementary at 10 a.m.

There will be a free Memorial Day Carillon Concert at Washington Memorial Chapel on Route 23 in Valley Forge National Historical Park. The concert will feature patriotic selections and works by American composers.

Boyertown's annual Memorial Day parade will kick off at 9:15 a.m. A ceremony at Fairview Cemetery will begin around 10 a.m.

Hatfield's Memorial Day Parade begins at 9 a.m., A Service will follow at Legion Home on Koffel Road.

Easton's Memorial Day Parade steps off at 10:30 a.m.

Moorestown's Memorial Day Ceremony to honor fallen service men and women will begin at 10 a.m. at Memorial Field at Church Street.

Upper Southampton Township will hold a Memorial Day service at 9:30 a.m. at Veterans' Field. Since 1947 the American Legion Post 800 in Southampton has hosted this event.

Pottstown's Memorial Day Parade will begin at 10 a.m. A Memorial Day ceremony will follow the parade in Memorial Park.

Bethlehem's Memorial Day Parade begins at 9 a.m. at Liberty High School and proceeds to Bethlehem Memorial Park for a brief ceremony.

Veterans and active-duty military will be honored beginning at 10:45 a.m. at the Cherry Hill Municipal Complex at an annual Memorial Day Ceremony.

Whatever you are doing Monday, just make sure you take the time to remember why we are marking this holiday: remembering and honoring people who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
