A $1,000 reward is being offered in connection with the unsolved shooting death of Reeshimah Woods.

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- "She was just a people person who had the gift of gab and everybody knew her."

Loretta Woods describes her older sister Reeshimah as the center of attention.

"She was the type of person who could walk anywhere and just light up a room," said Loretta.

Loretta says her sister's bubbly attitude is what makes the events of Monday April 13th that much harder to take.

"She had got off the bus to go home to my mom's, and it was maybe a 2 1/2 block walk."

It was just before 10 p.m., and Reeshimah was walking along the 600 block of Ware Street in Camden.

"Some people were shooting, and she got caught in the cross fire," said Loretta. "Just the wrong place at the wrong time."

Reeshimah was shot multiple times and died at the hospital.

The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $1,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.

All you have to do is call 215-546-TIPS.

All calls will remain anonymous.

"Make that phone call," urges Loretta Woods, "because if you bury somebody you would want somebody to come forward, and that's all I'm asking. I'm not asking you to be a hero, I'm just asking you to do the right thing."
