BENSALEM, Pa. (WPVI) -- A multi-vehicle crash shut down the westbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Bucks County during the Wednesday morning commute.
The crash occurred around 7:15 a.m. in Bensalem. It created a huge backup and delays approaching the accident.
Action News is told at least five vehicles were involved in the accident. At least one vehicle overturned. An ambulance was called to the scene.
By 7:50 a.m., officials were allowing one lane of traffic to get by. Around 8:30 a.m., all lanes reopened to traffic.
This was one of three crashes on the turnpike Wednesday morning including another in Willow Grove, Montgomery County.
