A teen who made headlines earlier this month when he petitioned his school to allow him to pose with his cat in his yearbook photo has reached a compromise that allows Mr. Bigglesworth to grace the pages and support a great cause.
Draven Rodriquez's retro-style senior portrait included his cat Mr. Bigglesworth and some awesome pink and blue lasers. With the feeling that New York's Schenectady High School was not going to be as enamored with his purr-fect pic as he was, Rodriquez launched a pre-emptive petition asking for the photo to be included.

While the school stood its ground, saying that Rodriquez could not use his fun photo for his official senior portrait, his cause did not go unnoticed by school administrators. As it turns out, Principal Diane Wilkinson is also an animal lover and agreed to include Rodriquez and Mr. Bigglesworth in her section of the yearbook.

So Rodriquez and Mr. Bigglesworth sat down for another photo session, this time with Wilkinson and her Chihuahua, Vivian. Both Vivian and Mr. Bigglesworth are rescue animals and the photo will be used to call attention to animal adoption and the ASPCA.
