SEPTA bus driver injured in crash near Platt Bridge

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A SEPTA bus driver was taken to the hospital following a crash in South Philadelphia Monday afternoon.

Chopper 6 was over the scene near the Platt Bridge at 26th Street and Pennrose Avenue.

It's not clear what caused the driver to swerve off the road and into the trees.

There was no one else on the bus at the time.
