VIDEO: Snoring, apnea linked to memory loss
A new study finds people with abnormal breathing during sleep such as heavy snoring or apnea may develop mild memory loss.

A new study finds people with abnormal breathing during sleep such as heavy snoring or apnea may develop mild memory loss about 10 years earlier than those with no problems.

But getting treatment by using a C-PAP breathing machine delays the memory loss.

The study also linked these problems to an earlier onset for Alzheimer's Disease.

Just another reason to be screened and treated if you have issues breathing while you sleep.
