Teen shot on Wilmington, Del. street

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- A 16-year-old boy was shot late Sunday night in Wilmington, Delaware.

The shooting happened on the 700 block of N. Jefferson St. just before midnight.

The teen was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

He was shot in the back.

Police have no details on a suspect or motive at this point.

The investigation continues.
