What is already a crazy video of an electrical storm in New York City gets even crazier when One World Trade Center, also known as the Freedom Tower, is struck by lightning. Strikes to skyscrapers, especially the Empire State Building, are fairly common. The Freedom Tower, though taller than the Empire State Building, was only completed last year, so this is a relatively new aspect of the familiar light show for New Yorkers to marvel at.
