Hospital worker surrenders to face charges

NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - January 8, 2008 James Daniels, who is charged with reckless endangering, turned himself in at the Glasgow state police barracks today at noon Police said he was then arraigned and released.

Twenty-eight-year-old David DeMusz, a center security guard, says Daniels disobeyed his orders to stop driving and nearly ran him over. DeMusz says he had to jump out of the way to avoid being hit by Daniels' car.

A state police report dated December 19th says Daniels was driving the wrong way on a one way street at the DPC complex.
