Prosecutors said Friday the death penalty was warranted because there were multiple victims, other people were endangered, and the alleged crimes related to drugs and to another felony, burglary.
Sanchez pleaded not guilty before a county judge on Friday. He is scheduled to stand trial March 31 along with two Warminster men charged with conspiring with him.
Sanchez is being held in prison without bail while awaiting trial.
