The child, who was riding with his mother, a 5-year-old sister and his twin brother, was thrown from the vehicle on impact. He died from his injuries at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly.
The other family members were taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. there was no immediate word on their condition.
Police say there were no injuries reported on the Pemberton Township School District bus, which was carrying 21 elementary-age students.
