Federal prosecutors say the 38-year-old Columbia University graduate traveled to his homeland to procure young teens from orphanages and have sex with them at his St. Petersburg apartment.
The plea calls for him to serve 78 to 97 months for "sex tourism" and three related counts. Defense lawyer Jack McMahon says Mogilyansky was a customer of the prostitution service but did not run it.
The case stems from a related investigation in Russia that led to several 2006 convictions.
