Keith Scott is accused of killing 18-year-old Ieisha Drake and 14-year-old Naim Drake in their Penn Hills home in October. Police say Scott also stabbed their mother, Nikiesha Warren, who survived.
At Wednesday's preliminary hearing, Allegheny County Police Detective Patrick Miller testified that he interviewed Scott in a hospital where he was being treated for self-inflicted wounds. Miller says Scott told him he became enraged because he believed Warren, his girlfriend, was cheating on him. Miller says when asked if he killed the teens and stabbed Warren, Scott replied that he must have, because no one else was in the house.
Defense attorney James Ecker accused Miller of putting words in his client's mouth while he was on morphine.
