Dog shot twice in Chester

Late-night gunfire in Chester, Pa. ended with a dog being shot twice. The shooting took place in the area of 3rd and Hayes in the city Tuesday night. No people were hurt.

However, on Wednesday morning, someone found a dog that was suffering from two bullet wounds, one behind an ear and one in an elbow.

The dog underwent surgery later Wednesday at the SPCA. She is expected to recover.
