An autographed pilot's hat belonging to Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger is being offering on eBay.
Sullenberger is, of course, the pilot who guided his jet to an emergency landing in the Hudson River nearly a year ago.
The auction is to benefit Dougherty Valley High in San Ramon, Calif., where the Sullenbergers' daughters go to school, and its sister school, Lockwood Elementary in East Oakland.
It's not the hat Sullenberger was wearing when he ditched the US Airways jet in the river.
But the winning bidder will also get a personal note from Sullenberger and his wife, Lorrie.
The auction runs for about another week.
Last night, bidding had topped $2,500.
