The department has launched a new website, with more interactive features to help fight crime in the city.
The new site is www.phillypolice.com.
The old site, www.ppdonline.org, is still online, and will stay up for a few more months.

Other new features include a signup for email and text alerts. There's even a blog from Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey.
In addition, the department has also launched a Twitter page and a YouTube page, and it even plans a Facebook page.
