A man, believed to be in his early 20's, was found shot in the head inside a car along the 5800 block of Trinity Street in Southwest Philadelphia.
The victim was rushed by Philadelphia fire medics to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead at 10:30 p.m.
The suspected shooter fled the scene.
Police caught up to and apprehended a man fitting the general description of the suspected shooter along the 900 block of south Cecil Street, but have not located the gun.
