Fight breaks out after city public school title game

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - March 3, 2010

Fists started flying right after Imhotep Charter beat Bartram High School, 58-46, to repeat as the city's public school basketball champions.

Police were out in force in the area, and managed to break up the fight within a matter of moments.

Officers did not make any arrests and did not report any injuries.

Extra patrol officers were on hand to make sure there was not a repeat of what happened on Monday night outside the Liacouris Center.

That's when a number of fights broke out following PIAA cheerleading competitions.
