NJ governor vetoes DRBA contract

TRENTON, N.J. - March 10, 2010

The expenses were to be paid to four vendors in unspecified amounts exceeding $25,000 in 2010.

The legal-services contract was for Philip Norcross, whose brother George is a Camden County Democratic powerbroker. Christie says the contact didn't set an hourly rate, length of term or maximum annual compensation.

The DRBA operates the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, the Delaware Memorial Bridge and five regional airports, including Millville and Cape May.
