Police seek killer of young mother in Delco

UPPER CHICHESTER TWP., Pa. - March 24, 2010

It happened in Upper Chichester Township, Pa. on Tuesday night.

Dana Felts was found inside a home with her throat slashed. Her aunt, who had just returned from babysitting Felts' two young children, made the discovery.

Investigators tell Action News that robbery may have been the motive for this crime. Friends say Felts recently won several thousand dollars at a local casino.

A steady stream of friends arrived at the home, some left flowers and stuffed animals, while others came by to pay their respects.

"It's a shame for such a little community to see something like this happen to a good person," said friend Kelly Horne.

This is the second brutal attack this week for the normally quiet Upper Chichester. An 83-year-old was beaten on Monday.

Investigators say the two cases do not appear connected.
