The South Street Headhouse District is offering its Second Annual Street Performers Series beginning Friday, May 28, 2010, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
The performers this week include Teenage Rock Duo Kate and Bina and Uprising, a local reggae band.
In upcoming weeks, performers will include: a variety of singers and bands, Samba Dancers, a jazz trio, a sword swallower and fire eater, a Hawaiian Luau Trio, and acrobat/aerialist, a belly dancer, a beatboxer, a magician, a puppeteer and more.
The performances will take place at Headhouse Square, on Second Street between Pine and Lombard streets.
In addition, Friday, May 28, 2010, is "4th Friday" and more than 24 area businesses will offer specials and discounts throughout the entire day. Other Summer "4th Friday" dates are June 25, July 23 and Aug. 27.
