One of the main competitors won't have his buns in the seat when the competition begins.
Takeru Kobayashi isn't expected to be there.
And that's considered a big deal - since he has won the competition six times.
Though the head of the competition says Kobayashi won't show at Coney Island, his rivals worry he could make a last-minute entrance.
But one, Joey Chestnut, says he isn't.
And maybe he shouldn't be - Chestnut has won the past three years, including a world record 68 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes last year.
