Man arrested in Delco road rage incident

BETHEL TOWNSHIP, Pa. - September 24, 2010

Investigators say the man, Robert G. Lambert of Trainer, got angry on Thursday morning when a nurse's aide passed his car while heading to her job at Naamans Creek Country Manor.

Surveillance video released by police shows the woman going into the home while Lambert's car pulled up.

Officers say that was when Lambert waved a gun and shouted racial slurs at the woman.

Police say the ugly incident could have easily turned into a tragedy.

"The hospital was going through its normal morning routine, bringing people outside to go to Crozer Hospital for dialysis and there were quite a few patients from the nursing home in wheelchairs waiting when this incident went down," said Chief John Cairo of the Bethel Township Police. "This really could have been a horrific scene."

The Action Cam was there as Lambert was brought into custody.

He faces reckless endangerment and other charges.
