Search for NJ 7-Eleven armed robber

GLOUCESTER TWP., N.J. - April 13, 2011

The robbery took place just before 9:30 p.m. on Monday April 4th at the 7-Eleven convenience store located in Glendora for an armed robbery.

Police say the male suspect brought a drink to the counter and when the cashier opened the register, the male displayed a large knife possibly 8" to 12" inches and demanded money.

The cashier opened the drawers as the male took an undisclosed amount of money from both registers then he fled on foot towards Station Avenue.

No one was injured during the crime.

The subject is described as a light skinned, black male between 6' and 6'2" tall, approximately 20 to 25 years of age, with a unkept scruffy beard; he was seen wearing a black jacket and a wool hat with a small brim.

The same subject is believed to have committed similar armed robberies in Cherry Hill, Somerdale, Magnolia, and Deptford that have occurred over the past few weeks.
