It happened near the intersection of Broadway and Mount Vernon Street.
Police say a man tried to rob them, but the brothers fought back.
The 24 year old victim was stabbed in the back; his 17 year old brother was stabbed in the arm.
Both men were taken to Cooper University Hospital. The 17 year old was treated and released. His brother is listed in stable condition.
Police are searching for a suspect.
