It was around 10:30 a.m. when Camden authorities were called about a body floating in the river.
The body was eventually recovered in the area of 7th and Erie Avenue.
Officials tell Action News that the Hispanic male suffered blunt force trauma to the head.
No identification is available at this time.
Camden County prosecutor's office and Camden Police are jointly working the case.
