The fire was reported shortly before 10:00 p.m. at a home on the 100 block of S. Dupont Highway in the Midvale section of New Castle.
Investigators say the fire originated inside a shed and quickly spread to an adjacent residence and a tattoo business. The occupants of the home were able to escape the fire safely.
Flames caused heavy damage to the shed. The tattoo business and the residence sustained moderate damage. Total damage is estimated at approximately $100,000.
