It happened Sunday morning January 22 in Newtown Square.
Police say the suspect broke into the Newtown Square Laundromat near West Chester Pike and Clyde Lane at 11:30 a.m.

He was in the process of robbing the place when a customer walked in on him.
The burglar pulled a knife and tried to steal the customer's wallet and vehicle. The suspect fled when a passerby saw what was happening and called police.
Police are hoping someone might recognize the suspect from surveillance pictures. If you do, you are asked to call Newtown Square Police at (610) 356-0602 and ask to speak with the detectives.
