The incident occurred at the school, located in the 3100 block of Frankford Avenue in Kensington, shortly before 1:30 p.m.
Officials say four male students were involved in a fight when a fifth male student attempted to break it up; two of the students then started attacking him.
The injured student is being treated at St. Christopher's Hospital for facial injuries.
The two arrested students face assault charges and have been suspended from school pending further investigation
Police continue to investigate.
