Laundromat attacker caught on camera in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA - January 11, 2013

It happened on December 18, 2012 at 3:04 p.m.

Police say a 26-year-old laundromat worker was trying to disperse a crowd that had gathered in the New Liberty Laundromat in the 700 block of West Bristol Street.

As the worker was asking people to leave, a man punched the worker several times in the face, breaking his nose and eye socket. The man then fled on foot with a woman.

Police have released the following description of the suspect:

Black male, 18 years-of-age, 5'6", 140-150 lbs, moustache, wearing a black knit hat, black jacket, dark colored jeans and sneakers.
