Cory Booker talked with Action News anchor Tamala Edwards about his plan to expand New Jersey's economy and create more opportunity.
He is working to get the minimum wage raised in both the garden state and at the federal level as well.
Senator Booker also says he is focusing on helping small businesses.
"I'm focusing on what we can do to expand the economy and create more opportunity from infrastructure to research to better training for our young people. These are the things we have to focus on, and they are bipartisan I think," said Senator Core Booker.
