Dawson's 18 helps Delaware beat Drexel 67-63

Alphonso Dawson scored 18 points and hit all five of his free throws to lead Delaware to a 67-63 victory over Drexel. Herb Courtney added 14 points for the Blue Hens, who have won four of five. Marco Cooper had 10 points and leading scorer Marc Egerson had nine points and 10 rebounds.

Frank Elegar had a career-high 33 points and 17 rebounds for the Dragons, who had won three of four.

Delaware bounced back from a 35-28 deficit at the break by shooting 52 percent from the field in the second half. Egerson's layup put Delaware ahead for good, 58-56, with 4:43 remaining.
