Grandieri's 22 helps Penn hold off N.J. Tech

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - January 5, 2008 Brian Grandieri had 22 points for Penn, while Cameron Lewis added 15 points and nine rebounds. The Quakers won despite committing 16 turnovers and missing 17 of 40 free throws.

Jheryl Wilson and Kraig Peters each had 12 points for the Highlanders, who are now 0-17 on the season.

N.J. Tech led 34-33 two minutes into the second half and trailed only 50-47 after a layup by Brendon Lyn with 12:30 left in the game.

But the Quakers then scored 11 straight points, and the Highlanders never got closer than eight points after that.
