Buzzing in 'Bama over the sex toy ban
HOOVER, Ala. (AP) - January 17, 2008 The Love Stuff adult toy store in Hoover is asking
the Alabama Supreme Court to declare part of the state's
anti-obscenity law unconstitutional. A lower court decision in
November upheld a state law that bans sale of sexual devices expect
for certain uses including medical and scientific purposes. The
Birmingham News reports on its Web site that Huntsville lawyer Amy
Herring is handling the Love Stuff appeal.
