Several law enforcement agencies in Montgomery County got a financial boost in their effort to fight crime. It happened outside the Montgomery County Court House in Norristown.

U-S representative Allyson Schwartz presented four checks totaling over 356-thousand dollars to four agencies.

The money goes to improve technology, communications and security equipment, as well as emergency training.

The grants were awarded to help the agencies serve and protect the residents of the county better.
