Pettitte apologizes for HGH

Andy Pettitte apologized to the New York Yankees, Houston Astros and his fans Monday for the "embarrassment" he caused them by taking human growth hormone. The Yankees pitcher said he had not talked to good friend Roger Clemens since Pettitte's sworn statement implicated his former teammate in the use of HGH.

"I never want a young person to do what I did," Pettitte said.
