Fordham sneaks past Temple 78-76

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - February 23, 2008 Bryant Dunston had 12 points and 12 rebounds and Brenton Butler also scored 12 points for Fordham. The Rams had lost five of their last seven.

Dionte Christmas scored 20 points and Mark Tyndale had 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Owls.

The Rams never trailed in the game and led 60-45 with 12:05 left to play. Temple then went on a 17-6 run to close to 66-62. The Owls tied the score 68-68 with 4:18 to go.

Stout's scoring then led to a 78-74 Rams lead with 12.8 seconds remaining.

Tyndale made a layup and stole the inbounds pass. But his 22-foot jumper rimmed out at the buzzer.
