Donor's lawsuit set against Princeton

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - March 6, 2008

A judge has scheduled the trial for October first.

The case has been making its way through the legal system for years.

The Robertson family claims Princeton misused their late parents' 1961 gift. Relatives say Princeton didn't do enough to train graduate students for government careers at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.

The family wants Princeton to return the endowment, which has grown to about $900 million and repay millions more. The family says the money would be used to educate aspiring diplomats elsewhere.

Princeton says it has used the gift appropriately.
